Fantastic business launch

Byron Lindsay was delighted with the sales achieved in his first month of trade as Revive! Franchisee for High Wycombe in April 2008. Revive! Recently spoke to Byron to review how the business launch has continued 4 months on.

Finishing close to £4,500 in sales in my first month exceeded my highest expectations. This was the result of carefully planning with good local market research and a professional launch coupled with hard work and determination.


The next few months have shown continual growth to a stage where we are able to achieve over £5000 in sales last month. Even with a potential slow down because of the "credit crunch" there are so many sales initiatives from Head Office that the momentum has continued.

Last month we undertook a supermarket promotion, with assistance from Head Office staff, that provided a decent number of jobs. This month an internet campaign has been created by the sales team that links to my webpage and so I have further leads coming in through the website.

There are still a couple of small technical issues that I have but I can walk through these with Denzil, the training manager, but to be honest I have learnt that the majority of these technical issues are me being too fussy with the work. Customers seem to be completely happy with the work I can produce. Sometimes it seems I am a little hard on myself!

The future looks really positive. As well as the different sales initiatives that are part of the structured launch of the business I continue to get a number of leads from the national accounts team and all in all it keeps me really busy!
